Mighty Minds
Mighty Minds
Does your child seem to worry a lot? Do their fears take on a life of their own or hold them back from doing things? If so, your child may be experiencing anxiety. Some of the most common symptoms of anxiety in children are nail-biting, irritability, stomach aches, trouble sleeping, and tantrums. In many cases, anxiety can go unnoticed in kids that present more mild-mannered and quiet. When a child continues to struggle with their worries and fears, it may soon start to impact a child’s school, social life, and overall happiness. Mighty Minds is a small group for children to learn strategies and tools to better manage their worries and fears. This is a 6-week long group. Children will learn through playful activities and small group exercises such as deep breathing and guided meditation.- Program Content:

- Relaxation techniques, including deep breathing and mindfulness exercises
